Parquet end-grained Moso bamboo cutting board with light colored silicone non-marring, skid resistant feet. They're very resourceful, easy to store and grab, while being best served for that in-between size for smaller kitchens, apartments, or for your RV. These are made of the same end-grained bamboo as all my others. This makes them durable, yet won't tend to dull knives, naturally anti-microbial with smooth clean lines. This is on the same design as my 6-1/2"x9" board with just a little more size. Like wood, bamboo needs to be kiln dried after being harvested. This heating process will cause variations in the caramel coloring, some will have 'beauty spots'. These variations and spots are normal and does not change the effectiveness in the cutting board's strength. Many customers like it because it gives the board a warmer, more aesthetic look. Patterns will vary. Handcrafted and made in the USA!
