A rare, yet naturally occurring bark inclusion in hard Maple give this cross a unique visual character. The edges are slightly beveled and then secured to a dark Walnut burl. The walnut burl was initially cross-cut and then flawlessly seamed to look as one piece. The medullary rays of the walnut create an iridescence, giving the impression of an aura. The birdseye maple frame, is designed to contrast the walnut, while at the same time, the black/flat industrial steel screws add a more contemporary boldness. This is an original, one-of-a-kind, autographed cross that will go with any decor. Has rear hanging clip and two silicone rubber bumpers on the bottom backside to help prevent scratching and movement. Measures approx. 12"Wx15"H All hand-crafted in the USA.
