I'm a small privately owned woodworking business and like many other manufacturers, experience occasional supply chain shortages.  One in particular, came late last summer and required quite a bit more energy and time to resolve.  I was recently advised that a shipping delay has now moved the time frame to April 6th. That said, I would expect to have more cutting boards available mid-April.  I will send out a mass email to all of you who have subscribed as that will give those customers the first opportunity when boards become available.   I will repeat this process until I meet everyone's needs. I appreciate your patience.   Thank you!

This cutting board measures roughly 13x18x1-1/2".  It is made up of end-grained parquet patterned Moso Bamboo, regarded as being one of the hardest bamboos, making it 20-25% harder than the standard 'hard-rock maple' used in other high-end cutting boards.  We take things to another level by adding stainless steel legs fitted perfectly with silicone non-marring, skid resistant feet.  These are secured with stainless steel screws to embedded stainless steel washers inside every rubber foot which means that the legs and feet will stay on, period.  This board is of exceptional quality that is unmatched in the industry, yet is very durable, knife friendly, and naturally anti-microbial. The smooth clean lines make this board easy to clean, there are no handles, no grooves where food and debris can collect.  The elevated legs allow you to easily pick up the board and move about, while the silicone feet give grip to your countertop or working surface.  It's a 'must-have' for every kitchen.  This sized board has between 5-6000 fine pieces of bamboo end-grained strips, making the structural integrity much better than any competitor's.  Like wood, bamboo needs to be kiln dried after being harvested. The kiln dry heat process naturally causes the caramel coloring, and like a loaf of bread in the oven, there will be aesthetically pleasing variations, some will have 'beauty spots'. These variations and spots are normal and adds a unique individual appearance to every cutting board yet at the same time, does not change the effectiveness in strength. Many customers like it because it gives the board a warmer, more visually appealing look.  These are all handcrafted and made in the USA!
