This is a 12x18" tray that has a true 3/4" thickness. Added 7-1/2" black handles, mar and skid resistant silicone rubber feet make this handcrafted tray unlike any others. Made with Ribbon Oak with African Black Gaboon Ebony accent and metallic deep red resin, this is truly a 'one-of-a-kind' special tray. The Ribbon oak used here has an iridescent glimmer that makes this elegant and rich. Highlights are the red river resin and black handles. All glues, finishes and epoxy resins are not only moisture resistant, but also food contact safe. Finished in butcher block oil and then waxed with combo carnauba and bees wax, then buffed. Care is simple wiping with damp cloth and occasionally reapplying butcher block oil or bees wax, then lightly buff. All my boards have been subjected to moisture prior to finishing, to raise the wood fibers and then sanded to a 500 grit.
